So great to meet everyone!
My name is Jenny and I’m originally from Sacramento, CA and now live in South Carolina. I work in high tech as my day job and am growing my Catholic life coaching practice. I was raised in a large Catholic family who was raised by an even larger Catholic family. I love Catholic in Recovery as it was my first exposure to recovery, the 12 steps and seeing people who suffered as I was suffering. I experienced hope! There are many things I am powerless over, but I began my recovery journey healing as an alcoholic / codependent. I love to read and walk in the beautiful wooded south. I love that recovery healed my marriage and our Lord has made me and everything in my life new.

JennyHere are a few suggestions for finding a sponsor:
– In meetings that you attend, its very appropriate to share in the chat or aloud that you are looking for a sponsor
– To be more specific, if there is a particular person that you see and hear and would like to have a conversation about sponsorship, you can ask to have a chat

Have you had a chance to view the virtual meetings specifically around food? I suggest that as you’ll have an immediate support group the moment you log in.
I hope in the past days the cravings have lifted some.

One of the best ways to look for a sponsor is to attend Catholic in Recovery meetings as there are many virtual calls you can attend. While in those meetings you can see and hear individuals who you may connect with. By all means place your number in the chat or state that you are looking for a sponsor.
