Tuesday of the Third Week of Advent

This Gospel also invites us to meditate on how God brings His promises to pass in His own time, reminding us that we need to be patient and faithful as we wait and work our programs with the help of His grace. As Elizabeth proclaims, “So has the Lord done for me at a time when he has seen fit to take away my disgrace before others” (Luke 1:25).

Reflection Questions

  • What former barren areas of your life has God made fruitful? What areas of your recovery is your faith still lacking and you’re in need of God’s grace?
  • How do you believe God is using you to “turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God”?
