“If anyone would like to acquire humility, I can, I think, tell him the first step. The first step is to realize that one is proud. And a biggish step, too. At least, nothing whatever can be done before it. If you think you are not conceited, it means you are very conceited indeed.”—C. S. Lewis, Mere Christianity
PRAY
Seventh Step Prayer from Alcoholics Anonymous
My Creator,
I am now willing that you should have all of me,
the good and bad.
I pray that you now remove from me
every single defect of character
which stands in the way of my usefulness
to you and my fellows.
Grant me strength, as I go out from here,
to do your bidding.
Amen.

- Who is a model of humility for you? Describe how their actions help you form patterns of humility and increase self-acceptance.
- How do you maintain daily conversion?
- Which of your character defects can you change into spiritual principles?
ACT
