Reflections

Tuesday of the Thirty-fourth Week in Ordinary Time
← Back to Dashboard

In today’s Gospel reading, we are reminded that wars and insurrections must first come to pass before Christ comes again. It is a reminder that there will be many struggles between now and the end of our lives, and that we must continue taking it one day at a time—to not stop “before the miracle happens” nor to stop “after the miracle happens” of finding freedom in recovery. Our recovery is a lifelong journey, filled with challenges and joys, but as long as we remain on the narrow path with Jesus at our side, we will find our way to His heavenly kingdom.

Reflection Questions

  • Has God spoken to you in your dreams? How might you understand your dreams as one way that the Lord may be communicating with you?
  • What are you doing today to remain faithful to Jesus on the narrow path leading to His everlasting kingdom?
