Friday of the Ninth Week in Ordinary Time

There is a slogan often stated in the rooms of recovery: “Don’t leave before the miracle happens.” How true this is! As we learn in recovery, God is still in the business of miracles, signs, and wonders. We see it all the time in recovery meetings, and we shouldn’t be surprised since the Big Book tells us as well: “The age of miracles is still with us. Our own recovery proves that!”

Reflection Questions

  • How has God proven to be a deliverer and healer in your life? How have you had to get out of God’s way to allow Him to work miracles in your life?
  • How is God currently working in your life and how can you let Him do so more fully today?
