I was powerless and still feel vulnerable to this disease when I wasn’t able to stop. Until my intervention over the past couple of months with being faithful and prayers. I wanted to stop and the grace and mercy of God has helped me one day at a time,

I’m a suffering addict with a lot of trauma issues(ptsd). This time around I’ve used my catholic faith to begin my journey and finding this extremely helpful and inspiring way to restart my sobriety. My first 30 days were feeling very enlightened with my routine. I’m struggling with the socializing aspect of out to dinner and having a drink. Now I’m restarting my 30 days and need meeting’s scheduled in my daily life. Virtual would work with my schedule and I’m having trouble attending any regular AA meetings with personal challenges and work conflicts. I would like women’s meetings if they are daily if not anyone’s would work along with the days including women’s times.
    Thank you for your help.

I’m also in need of finding a sponsor. How do you reach out to begin the search?

I’m looking for a female sponsor who has similar experiences with addictions, mental and physical challenges with sexual abuse, and verbal abuse from husband, behavior impulses that are overwhelming triggering.
