Tuesday of the Thirty-fourth Week in Ordinary Time

Saint Josemaria Escriva tells us, “Don’t be afraid to call Him Father and to ask for miracles—daily miracles for daily needs.” This insight reveals the importance of embracing intimacy with God as our faithful Father—a Father who desires to give us the crown of life if we remain faithful to Him. And when we do this, one day at a time, we come to know peace, joy, and freedom in this life, too.

Reflection Questions

  • How has your own recovery journey helped you remain faithful to God? Reflect on instances when God has remained faithful to you.
  • When was the last time you asked the Father for a daily miracle for a daily need? What can you ask Him for today in faith?
