The Nativity of the Lord (Christmas) Mass during the Day

“And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).

Gathering in fellowship provides us a special opportunity to learn from the experience, strength, and hope of each other. It allows us to celebrate, together, that God came into our world to save us from our addictions, unhealthy attachments, and sinfulness. This Christmas, let us adore the Lord who has entered into the dark night of our own lives to bring light, love, and joy to us and all of creation. O come, let us adore Him!

  • In what ways have you recognized that the Lord is with you along your recovery from addiction, compulsions, unhealthy attachments, and their impact on the family?
